How to Explain Why Star Trek Is Much Better Than Star Wars

Before anyone posts a rebuttal, let me point out that the next comic is titled “How to Explain Why Star Wars Is Much Better Than Star Trek.”

Now that that’s out of the way,  I have three things to report.

First thing: If you’re going to be at Comic-Con in San Diego, I will be signing books at my publisher’s booth (booth #2003) for a few hours each day on the 13th and 14th, and perhaps on the 12th, depending on how well my travel plans work out. Also, I’ll be at the Universal UClick booth (booth #1714) for an hour on the morning of the 14th. Hope to see you there!

Second thing: If you are a fan of Game of Thrones, or a fan of Paul and Storm, you should definitely watch this.

Third thing: I’ve laid off the financial talk lately because I can, and the reason I can is that many of you are taking the time to use my Amazon Affiliate links  (USUKCanadawhen you’re buying things at Amazon.com. I just want to thank you, ask you to please keep it up, and reiterate that doing so costs you nothing, and while the constant mentions of Amazon may be irritating, they are not nearly as irritating as conventional banner ads.

How to Play the Field

It occurs to me that it’s been a while since I’ve made a sales pitch for the subscription service. You already know that subscribing gets you the comic e-mailed to you before it appears anywhere else, but did you know that you get it at a much higher resolution?  It’s true! (I had posted an example, but it somehow broke one of my smart phone apps, so, there's that.) Also, subscribers get exclusive commentary on the comics. Here’s the commentary for the comic they received today.

“Yeah, any time the title includes the word "adversary," I think you can guess who the star of the strip will be.

Also, reading this now, nearly a week after I wrote it, it's clear seeing those two little boys fish-hooking each other a month ago had a more profound effect on my psyche than I'd thought."

You’ll just have to use your imagination as to what the comic could be until July 4th, when you’ll learn that it’s pretty much what you thought.

Thanks for your time, and, as always, for using my Amazon Affiliate links  (USUKCanada).
