Another week, another payment option.

Many of you asked for an alternative payment method, because you don’t like PayPal  (a position I completely understand, by the way).  I took a while to look at the other internet-based options, and there wasn’t a single one that I couldn’t see someone expressing a problem with. I’ve decided to go low-tech, and bypass the whole mess.

Starting today you can join the Basic Instructions Subscription Service for one year by mailing a check for $30 to the following address:

Please make the check payable to Scott Meyer, and include the e-mail address to which you want me to send the comics. Once the check has cleared, I will add you to the mailing list for one year.

How to Explain Why You Like Something

I’ve gone part time at my day job. As of now I am a full-time cartoonist who has a job on the side, as opposed to the other way around. This wouldn’t be possible if not for the support of everyone who has subscribed, donated, sponsored, or purchased stuff from me or through my Amazon Affiliate links  (US, UK, Canada), and I hope you know I appreciate it.

Now, let’s talk about the means of that support! The subscription service continues to gain subscribers at a slow but steady pace. Due to popular demand I’ve added a yearly PayPal payment option as well as the monthly. Many people wrote that they distrust PayPal, and wanted an alternative. I think I’ve come up with the perfect solution for those people, and I will be announcing it next week at this time.

Thanks again everybody. Now Missy and I are going to eat something unhealthy to celebrate!
