It has come to my attention that this comic bears a strong resemblance to a bit by Patton Oswalt (you should listen to it. He's really great. I once spent an evening in a cheesy piano bar with him. Really good guy), and possibly George Carlin (Never got to meet him. Know people who did. They say he was kind, but grumpy). The resemblance was unintentional, and I apologize to both of them or their surviving realatives, whichever is most appropriate.

I'll be offerring Infini-Tees again come November, so get your photos ready. 

My third book, “The Curse of the Masking-Tape Mummy” officially comes out in March, but my publisher will have copies available for delivery before Christmas. You can pre-order it now! If you do, you’ll be entered into a contest, the prize of which is to appear in a Basic Instructions comic, probably insulting Rick (Note: contest not open to Rick).

Lastly, I'm quite pleased that I ran this comic when I did. My opinion has not changed. I just wish things had worked out closer to how my last panel suggested.
