How to Discuss Something that Does Not Interest You

There’s been a bit of debate in my comments section about my hasty decision to check the DRM box on the Kindle version of my book. I have looked into removing the DRM, but to do so I would have to issue a new edition, losing all reviews and ranking the book has gained, and triggering exactly the problem that the people who complained about the DRM were worried about.

Instead, I have made a DRM-free version of the book available on Smashwords.

You may notice that the Smashwords edition is one dollar more expensive. This is because the book took some reformatting for their system, and because they figure their royalties differently.

I should also point out that this means the book will soon be available on Sony, Kobo, and iBooks. I'm still working on Google Play.
