Several quick (dorky) things

Today (April 30th) is 31¢ scoop night at Baskin-Robbins. From 5pm-10pm, you can get a single scoop cup or cone for 31¢! I suggest you do so.

My favorite show, The Venture Brothers" is starting its third season in June.  If you've never seen an episode, you have one month to get up to speed. Again, I suggest you do so.

If you've never seen the British TV series Torchwood, I suggest you not read the next two sentences, as they'll make little sense to you.  It seems statistically improbable that EVERY member of the staff of Torchwood Cardiff, all the way back to the beginning of time, would be bisexual. Am I to believe that it's some sort of coincidence, or does Captain Jack only want operatives whose minds are open to every option.

If you're not up to speed on Battlestar Galactica, then please stop reading now.

Okay, I warned you.

I have no urge to see Colonel Tigh naked, but part of me does hope to see his spine light up. What's that about!?

Hey, I really like today's comic. The first panel is a particularly good observation.

However, I don't understand the last line of panel 3. What does that mean?

"Cut out around the tailbone" means he has a tattoo at his waist, where the froot-o-the-loom label would go.

Hope that's not TMI.

The boss in the bottom two panels comes off as a suit who wants to be a tough guy. Is *he* bisexual?

I only watch the episodes (ie I don't get info from other sources), so when you state about wanting to see Tigh's backbone light up it got me thinking.

Why did they bother with this effect? It is pretty pointless. I recorded all the episodes when they did the marathon before the new episode and then watched them all before getting caught up. I must say that watching the episodes that way made the show much better not having to wait a week and being able to avoid all the commercials.

It also made the glowing spine thing show up as nothing more than a cheap stunt to show Sharon's naked back. Oh well, flesh still sells.

Some good things came out of the marathon, my wife is now hooked on the show so no more watching it alone.

Speaking of nude cylons, has there ever been a more disturbing juxtaposition than Six turning into Saul's dead wife?

Oh man, I'm totally a huge fan of your comic, and a huge fan of Venture Brothers. I've solidly watched both seasons twice through. Good times.
