The pre-dinner rolls were the wadding

If you follow the dialog in the second panel of today's strip to it's logical conclusion, and you know how a civil war canon worked, than you know that it is probably the most disgusting thing I've ever written.

At the request of a reader, I'm working on some downloadable wallpaper images. Aside from the "You will learn" logo, is there anything I've ever drawn you'd like to see on your desktop every morning? If so, please leave a comment.

To get your creative juices flowing, here's a poster I saw today that's so wrong it becomes right.

Definitely the smoking jacket shot. That'd be on my background faster than you can say "civil war cannon."

I've always liked the "Your skin would make a fine poncho" picture as it both disturbs and amuses me at the same time... I would thus like that picture as a magical interweb download. I'd like you to be saying something about your Throne Of Skulls too. I'm beinng demanding aren't I...? Ah well, it's my birthday today and I am therefore the princess.

I think some of your t-shirt stuff will transport well, although your opening yourself up to cheap knock offs, but hell welcome to the internet ...

How about something with the drawing of you pointing? You know, the one in the second panel of how to talk to a farmer? Or the second panel of how to customize your cell phone? Or the second panel of how to project? Or, well you get the idea. Something with that drawing and a pithy saying would be great.

Hello Mr. Meyer, Me & my Brother read your strip from India, Bangalore to be precise. Your sense of humour is superb and despite the fact that I cam across your strip thru the Dilbert Blog, i have since been reading ONLY your strip. It's damn funny and a lot of my friends find this funny too. Thanks!

And also the most hillarious.

I love this stuff!

Can you create a widget/Gadget thing for a computer desktop with the standard picture of you pointing with a speech bubble that says something new everyday. It needs to be something snide and shitty like "fan-freakin-tastic."

Nice wallpapers, but you should post the strip, as "the one that got away" and besides my standards are remarkably low ...

Where's my 3840x1024?
Seriously.
Don't forget those of us who are well endowed with large monitors!

I'm with Simon - post the strip here in the news section, though. (You don't want to publish bad stuff on the main page, but this is a good outlet, sort of like Pastis' end-of-book didn't-make-it comics.)

I really like what you did with the "You will learn" logo, any chance of getting it in 1680x1050 though? Widescreen monitors need love too!

This is old hat, but I like the one of "How to hold the UN hostage," and you're holding your cat and saying "Succumb to my demands or kitty will get grumpy!" or something like that.
