Oh the shame! The hilariously ironic shame!
So, I posted my first Thursday strip this morning. Here are a few interesting facts about it.
Fun fact #1: The strip is about people correcting me because I tend to make the kind of mistakes that cause people to wonder if I've suffered brain damage.
Fun fact #2: The strip was accidentally posted out of order. It's not supposed to run for another month, and has not yet (and now can never) run in the Seattle Weekly.
Fun fact #3: The strip featured 3 typos in the second panel.
They have been corrected. If you catch any more, please let me know. Just don't take it personally when I explode in a torrent of expletives. It's not you I'm mad at.

This was the first strip that i laughed out loud to. I usually just giggle or smile, but this one was hilarious (maybe because it hits home?)
anyway i think this strip could have down with out the last panal... the first three carried the joke and it was hella funny
Maestro,
You made someone's cat dying extremely funny.
If there is any justice on the earth, there will be a cash prize associated with this at some point.
As someone who is widowed (many years) ago, I had multiple fanatasies of attacking well wishers at several points along the way.
I've very much enjoyed your work - and am rooting for you to get $$ for this somehow.
Thanks for sharing!

I must have brain damage because I read it as soon as RSS said it was posted and I noticed no typos...

This one was great - so sad for the Seattle folk who will miss one of your best! After the richness of this four panel I realized why the three panel cut down version never really works for me - it's the juxtaposition of the four part narrative that illustrate your basic premise with the four examples of bumbling those same instructions so badly. There's a wonderful build as "you" go further and further away from the intent of the "instructions".
For your sake I wish you great syndicated success - for ours I hope the four panel web version never dies!
Oh - and BTW I love reading your blog too - that great sense of humour and comic timings shows up there too. More Disney stories would be nice....
