I've got answers.
I just want to answer a few questions I’ve received about my forthcoming book:
Yes, I’ll let you know when pre-orders are available.
No, this deal is not part of a syndication deal.
I do intend to include some extra material of some sort to give people who have read the website a reason to be interested in the book.
The book will contain the 4-panel weekly strips, although I might throw in a couple of the dailies I’m particularly fond of.
No, sadly, Hellboy will not be in my book. I might try to squeeze in an homage to “The Man with the Screaming Brain.” We’ll see.
One non-book answer, my wife’s glasses were deleted from the character design due to feedback from the readers on the Adams blog. There was a feeling that I wasn’t drawing her in a feminine enough style. I tried a few new ideas, and she and I settled on one we both think is an improvement.

congrats on the book!
also, Ace of Cakes? Awesome show. :)
Does this mean we won't be able to see past comics on your site for free anymore?
Great news about your book. But I hope it is also going to be for sale in Europe. Please? I promise I'll use it as my basic gift (gifts I give when I don't know what to give)!
I actually liked how your wife looked more like a real person and less overtly feminine. It was rather refreshing. Not that the lack of glasses is bad, per se... I figured she got Lasik or something.
My old strips will continue to be available on the website.
I actually think that the glasses look good on your wife. They fit her personality.
Other than getting you increased exposure, I'm not sure that Scott Adams' input has been of benefit to you. Of the two strips, yours is much more original and entertaining. But what do I know, eh?
Congrats on the book! But I did like how you drew your wife - it made her look like a normal person, not the exaggerated idea of feminine that so many comics have.
Yeah, Scott!
The non-existent glasses
look great on your wife!
For those of you that don't
speak "Mary",
That means I think his wife looks
good without glasses.
Toodles!
I never really say that,
but I love the word.
AUGH! RAMBLING!
Bye.
I think your wife looked perfect. I like it that she looks like a real person and not some actress.
@Val:
Absolutely! Cute as a cracked little button. :-)
